So the most awaited time comes as iOS 7, iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C will be available from today. Previously we told you about the possibility of iOS 7 Jailbreak in near future. Today we bring you an easy clean procedure for preparing your device for iOS 7 Upgrade.
iOS 7 brings a number of new features like iTunes Radio, Air Drop, Control Centre and much more. Moreover, iOS 7 is built on complete perspective so in order to upgrade to iOS 7 or install iOS 7; you may need to perform some necessary tasks:
- Make sure that the device you want to upgrade is compatible with iOS 7. Remember iOS 7 is compatible with iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPad 2, iPad 3, iPad 4, iPad mini and latest iPod Touch i.e. 5th generation.
- Make sure you have downloaded the latest version of iTunes. For downloading latest version of iTunes, go here.
- Don’t forget to back up your device either using iTunes or iCloud.
- In order to back up using iTunes, first of all, connect your device to the computer. Select your device in iTunes and click on Back up Now to back up your device.
- In order to back up using iCloud, go to Settings then iCloud. Click on Storage & Backup and then click on Back up Now.
Performing iOS 7 Upgrade:
Here you have got two ways for upgrading to iOS 7 either through OTA or iTunes:
Upgrading via OTA:
Navigate to Settings > General > Software Update. If any update is available, it will be shown. So you just need for the update to be shown, and then you can easily perform iOS 7 Upgrade.
Upgrading via iTunes:
Moreover, you can also upgrade using iTunes. This procedure is relatively more simple and easy. Just connect your device to computer. Select your device in iTunes. Then click on Check for Update. If any update is available, you will be upgraded.
So just keep on trying to upgrade, as Apple may feed the iOS 7 Upgrade anytime soon.
