Motherboards leaks have been rolling in quite frequently for the past couple of weeks. We have already covered AMD’s B450 chipset motherboards. In recent news, however, Asus TUF Z390-Pro Gaming Board has leaked online on SiSoft Sandra benchmarking database. The motherboard in question was spotted running an Intel Core i7 8700K CPU on Sandra benchmarking database. We cant make much out of it other than that the leak showed no signs of 8 core or higher CPU support as it was running the standard Intel i7 processor mentioned earlier.
However, we do know that since this will be intel’s latest chipet, that is, the Z390 chipset, earlier Z370 motherboards will be replaced. We can also naturally expect top-tier features from the Z390 motherboard as it is the newer contender on the scene. We are still hoping that the Intel’s Z390 Asus TUF Z390-Pro Gaming Board will feature support for higher core processors. As far as release is concerned, you can be sure that the motherboard will arrive soonish.
Below you can find the official SiSoft Sandra benchmark screen.
Now the question remains will the Asus TUF Z390-Pro Gaming Board support Intel 8 core processors. We speculate that it will but nothing can be said for certain right now.
This is all we have for you right now, be sure to check back as we will be updating our articles as more info rolls in.
