In recent news, Intel has confirmed that it will be using Coffee Lake architecture for its 9000 series processors. This was confirmed by a microcode update guidance file. Early on there was some speculation in the tech world regarding this but it hadn’t been confirmed, however, now we know for certain that Intel’s latest processors will indeed be intel 9th Gen Coffee Lake S Processors.
The Intel 9th Gen Coffee Lake S Processors will feature a 6+2 and 4+2 configurations. The listed 9th gen processors that will utilize this configuration are Core i5-9600(K), Core i5-9500(T), Core i5-9400, Core i3-9100 and Core i3-9000.
Furthermore, it is safe to assume that 9th gen core i7 processors will feature 8-core configuration since 9th gen i5 processors will now feature 6 cores.
