Pakistan’s leading Systems Integrator and Technology solutions provider – InfoTech – now facilitates SAMBA Bank Limited (a subsidiary of Samba Financial Group of Saudi Arabia) in hosting their core banking solutions on middleware which is entirely IBM’s. The IBM DB2 Database will enable Samba Bank to integrate their front end and back end systems seamlessly. What’s more to this is that the Bank also selected POWER8-based servers – based on the first open server platform and the first processor designed for Big Data – storage and industry’s most advanced IBM Flash Systems which will allow them to build highly efficient and flexible performance optimized systems.
