Today we have the HTC One Mini 2. Yes HTC has added another member in the One family and yet again they did not fail to impress us. The HTC One Mini 2 is not the Mini (M8) but the successor of the One Mini. Although the phone still has the same aluminum touch and the strong build which resembles more to the HTC One M8. The improvements in the phone are at first glance very appealing. As the screen size has now grown to 4.5 inches from 4.3. Also the camera has tripled to 13 MP and the front facing camera has also advanced to 5 MP. Here are the complete specifications of the phone:

Hardware and body:
The metal body design has now been updated but the plastic has been reduced. Due to which the premium feel of the phone has been restructured. Although the screen of the phone grew to 4.5” but the phone is only as wide as the HTC One Mini. The phone features on-screen buttons this time. This was done to reduce the height problems that the One series had. Unfortunately the problem persisted. Apart from that, the phone features the volume rocker on the right side along with the microSD card slot. The sim jacket on the left, 3.5mm jack and power button and the top and the microUSB 2.0 port at the bottom.
Extreme battery saver mode:
The phone also features an extreme body saver mode that can be set on any of the battery percentage. The battery saver mode allows you to use only the main applications or should I say the necessity applications of the phone such as the message, phone and contacts app. The phone replaces the original app drawer by a secondary app drawer for this.
Final words:
The phone feels great, works great and captures great as well. The HTC One Mini 2 is perhaps one of the best “mini” phones around in the market. The cutting edge premium feel of the phone is not matched by any other mini phone around. All in all, the phone is a state-of-the-art device by the company. Let us know about what you feel about the phone.
