HP Smartwatch to be compatible with iPhone, this is how it may look like

Smartwatches are like the hot news of these days. Although there are only a few products that have made to the market and are flourishing their way in it. One big technology player might also just show up with a smartwatch, and the company is HP. The HP smartwatch was not expected as the company who sells servers to enterprises was likely to come in the smartwatch trend.

Luckily, the HP smartwatch is not relying on its own in-house designers to come up with the watch that it hopes we’ll all be wearing at some point of our life. The company turned to an American designer for the job, Michael Bastian. His main job will be to design a watch so sleek and elegant with so much power on the inside that everyone will desire to wear it. A rather interesting thing to note here is the HP smartwatch will indeed look like a luxury product.

Right now we have almost no technical details about this smartwatch, but we do know that it will feature a 44mm stainless steel casing and straps ranging from plastic to rubber to leather. They story goes that the HP smartwatch will have the quality/feature of interchangeable straps. A good news for watch lovers, such as me.

So far as the software is concerned, the HP smartwatch will be having a cross-platform app that will work in iOS and Android at least. The Android version is not confirmed as of yet. The watch will have features of receiving and viewing mails.

Now this is the point where things get interesting or muddy – depends – HP does not have a good reputation when it comes to devices like this. For example, the HP tablets and smartphones were not a big success.

Pricing details of the HP smartwatch are not available neither can we suppose them as they are based on the actual thing, and we have no idea of the end product.

Along with the HP smartwatch in the rumor mill, Apple is also expected to announce its very own smartwatch this fall.
