Borderlands 3 is an action role-playing first-person shooter video developed by Gearbox Software and published by 2K Games. The game is finally available on PS4, Xbox One and PC via Epic Games Store. If you’re facing any Borderlands 3 Stuttering on PC, here’s what you can do to fix it for now.
While the game has been received quite well, the performance across all platforms isn’t that great.
Fix Borderlands 3 Stuttering on PC
The game seems to be stuttering on a variety of systems, and even ones that exceed the system requirements provided by Gearbox. Here’s what you can temporarily do to fix the stuttering. The stutters also happen when you hold down the sight on scoped weapons.
- Start Borderlands 3, and head to Options
- Now select Advanced visual settings, and you’ll see the following screen
- Set the Overall Quality to Very Low
- Now, manually increase the individual settings one by one
The solution comes from a Reddit user, and people have confirmed in the comments that it’s working for them
This seems to mitigate most of the stuttering issues users have been facing. According to the reports, your first ADS will likely stutter, but after that, it seems to be working just fine.
The current state of Borderlands 3 is extremely disappointing, and there seems to be a lack of optimization. Literally a few days ago, Gears 5 came out, and it uses the same engine, but runs way better than this.
