How to improve Crysis Remastered Performance on PC

Improve Crysis Remastered Performance

Crysis Remastered

Crysis Remastered is a remaster of the iconic first-person shooter game from Crytek. Just like the original Crysis that came out back in 2007, this one is fairly demanding too. If you are on PC and want to improve the Crysis Remastered performance, here are a few things you can try.

The game is also available on consoles including PS4, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch.

Improve Crysis Remastered Performance

While these steps won’t drastically change how well the game performs, you are sure to attain some improvement in your framerate.

Method 1: Adjust Vsync through your Graphics Control Panel

Method 2: Update your GPU Drivers

Make sure you are on the latest drivers for either AMD or NVIDIA. You can get the latest drivers for your specific GPU from the following links below.

Method 3: Lower your settings to Medium

Now, if you have seen a bunch of tech analysis videos for Crysis Remastered, you’ll notice how there isn’t a major visual difference between higher and medium settings. This is an unusual remaster and suffers from the same issues the original game did. We recommend lowering settings where you can because the loss in visual quality is negligible compared to the loss in framerate at higher settings.
