If you’re getting any sort of crashes when you launch the game, you can try some of the methods below to fix it.
Download and Install the following Executables
- Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015
- .net Core
- .net FrameWork
- Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2017
Download each of these and install them.
Update your Windows
Make sure you are on the latest versions of Microsoft Windows.
You can manually update it by navigating to Windows Settings and then Update and Security.
Add an exception to your anti-virus
Sometimes, a lot of third and first-party anti-virus software can flag the crash reporting tool as a false negative. To alleviate that, just add your game’s folder into the Anti-virus’s exception folder.
If you’re using Windows Defender, follow the steps below.
- Go to Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Security > Virus & threat protection
- Under Virus & threat protection settings, select Manage settings, and then under Exclusions, select Add or remove exclusions
- Select Add an exclusion, and then select the folder where your game is installed
Update GPU Drivers
You can download the latest drivers for your GPU from the links provided by Guru3D below
Remove a file mentioned below
Head over to the following directory and remove the file available here
SteamLibrary/steamapps/common/Mount & Blade II Bannerlord/Modules/SandBox/ModuleData/Languages/CN
Delete whatever is present here.
