Mafia Definitive Edition is the remake of the original action-adventure that came out back in 2002. The game is available on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. It is also available on consoles including both Xbox One and PS4. If you are on the PC version and are running into a Mafia Definitive Edition Black Screen, here is how you can fix it.
The game has Very Positive reviews on Steam, and much better reception when compared to the other two entries and their definitive editions.

This issue is fixed by the same method we mentioned in the crashing issue, and you can follow the steps below to fix it.
- Open your Steam library and right-click on Mafia: Definitive Edition
- Select Properties, and now head to the LOCAL FILES tab
- Here, select BROWSE LOCAL FILES. This will take you to where the game is installed
- Now, in this folder, instead of running the game with the launcher, run it with mafiadefinitiveedition.exe
- This will launch the game
- To make sure the game runs through this every time, simply disable the launcher in-game. You could also create a shortcut for the exe and launch it from there.
