Genshin Impact is a free-to-play, open-world action role-playing gacha video game from miHoYo. The game is available on multiple platforms including PC, PS4, and mobile devices. If you are on PC and want to enable the Genshin Impact Discord Overly, here is how you can easily do it.
The game is one of the biggest releases of the year, and despite being a free-to-play game, has made over $100 million since it’s launch. It is available on both iOS and Android devices as well.
Enable Genshin Impact Discord Overly
For whatever reason, players can’t seem to enable overlays in the game. This includes both Steam, and Discord overlays. To enable the discord one, follow the steps below.
- Make sure you run Discord as Admin
- To do so, right-click on the Discord icon, and select Properties
- Now, head over to the Compatibility tab
- Here, check the “Run this program as an administrator” as shown below (THIS STEP IS CRUCIAL)
- Launch Discord, and head into Settings
- Now, click on Game Activity
- Here, if you don’t see Genshin Impact listed, simply click on “Add it” as shown below
- When it is added, simply enable the Overlay for it
