Valheim is a survival and exploration game from Iron Gate AB and Coffee Stain Publishing. It is available on Steam as an early access title, and has already taken the survival genre by a storm. This is due to its unique setting, fantastic visuals, and gameplay that allows a lot of freedom without being too overbearing. Now, with every early access title, there are bound to be different bugs, and technical problems that players will face. If you want to disable the HUD in Valheim, here is how you can do that.
After only a few days of launch, Valheim already has a peak player count of 132k, and over 70K people are playing it as we write this. This is an incredible achievement for the developers, and it will definitely help them throughout the early access period. Hopefully with this, more feedback will be given to the developers, and they can improve the quality of the game as well.
Disable the HUD in Valheim
There are many people that find the HUD in games distracting. Sometimes you are familiar enough with it that it isn’t necessary to keep it on at all times. The game becomes a bit more immersive as well when you turn the HUD off. There are many games that give you the feature to toggle it through the settings, but Valheim has made that easier.
To do this in Valheim, simply press F3 and Ctrl together. This will disable, and enable the HUD, and you can do that while in-game easily.

We are excited to see what the developers have in store for players, and how they will improve the game. As of right now, the game is expected to remain in early access for at least a year, and if the quality of content in it is good enough, many players will stick around. The early access model has helped a lot of games become the best sellers they are today, and these include the likes of Hades, Dead Cells, and Risk of Rain 2.
