The Hitman series has been one of the mainstay stealth game franchises for several game generations now. It saw a resurgence recently with the release of Hitman 2 back in November of 2018 which is a game with immense player freedom leading to some very comical ways to take out targets. Even more exciting news comes in the form of the Hitman: HD collection for PS4 and Xbox One being officially announced.

The Hitman: HD collection for PS4 and Xbox One includes Hitman: Blood Money and Hitman: Absolution. Both games will be able to be played in full 4K HD in glorious 60 FPS. The announcement came from the official website of IO Interactive, the developers of the Hitman series.

The Hitman: HD Collection for PS4 and Xbox One comes out on January 11, 2019. While you wait for the iconic 4K/60FPS experience of these old classics, perhaps you can quench your bloodthirst by skillfully taking out targets in Hitman 2.
