So here is somewhat of an eye-candy to most viewers. This is related to the actors and actresses that were almost cast as superheroes and villains in Guardians of the Galaxy. So it is highly likely that the Guardians of the Galaxy would be the top grossing movie of the summer. These actors would be pretty bummed that they didn’t make it to the movie. Here’s a look at the 8 actors who were almost cast in the movie.
David Tennant as Rocket Raccoon
It’s a good thing David Tennant didn’t get a part in Guardians of the Galaxy. Why? With a British accent the raccoon would not have had the edge and it would probably freak me out.
Adam Sandler as Rocket Raccoon
No! No no no no! Adam Sandler as the Raccoon? Not at all.
Jim Carrey also as Rocket Raccoon
With him as the Rocket Raccoon in the Guardians of the Galaxy, there is no way I would have had a crush on Rocket. Jim Carrey would have been much funnier than Bradley Cooper, but not as sexy as him.
Olivia Wilde as Gamora
Olivia Wilde was proposed the role of Gamora, but you know what happened? She turned it down. But why would she do that in the first case? It’s Guardians of the Galaxy we are talking about.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Star Lord
Joseph got so far as screen testing for the role of Peter Quill/Star Lord, but turned it down. He turned down the offer for Sin City: A Dame to Kill For. Though does not seems to be a very good call.
Aaron Paul as Star Lord
He is by far the best actor that should have been in the movie except the original one. Aaron Paul has the perfect combination of seriousness and craziness to act the role of Star Lord.
Jensen Ackles as Star Lord
Casting the supernatural guy in Guardians of the Galaxy would have made Tumblr explode. This one could have been a game turner for Jensen Ackles to a whole new level.
Isasiah Mustafa as Drax the Destroyer
This casting would also have been very beneficial for Isasiah Mustafa. I mean going from Old Spice commercials to Guardians of the Galaxy would be the mother of all promotions.
