Recently released GTA V gets an angry voice by the counselor of the Hawick as why Hawick town was introduced in GTA V as the town of “druggie hipster” i.e. GTA V Hawick town. The Councilor of Scottish border town opposed that by reference like this, it can destroy their town reputation as GTA V would be played all around the World and their town would come to be known as a town full of drug addicts and miscreants.
Councilor David Paterson while speaking to BBC news said they he is disgusted upon how the town name was used for. GTA V Hawick town was made by Edinburgh developer Rockstar North and we can assume that while creating he had no idea that such a fuss would occur.
Lamot said, “They clearly do not know Hawick well, and that is why I have invited them to meet with me at my office on the town’s High Street.”
Councilor said that he and other residents were shocked to hear that their town name was used in GTA V i.e. GTA V Hawick town which include drugs, sex and violence and above all to be used as a ‘drug addict hipster vibe. “Hawick is a lovely town.” said Councilor.
