Grounded is an upcoming survival game developed by Obsidian Entertainment and published by Microsoft Studios. The title is essentially a video game version of the classic 80s film “Honey, I Shrunk the Kids”. Players will have to survive against all sorts of insects and biomes due to their size. Now, the Grounded System Requirements have been revealed as well.
This is a pretty different project from Obsidian Entertainment as they normally like to release dense RPGs. It’s always interesting to see a developer try out a different genre, and see what they come up with. The title is coming to PC via both Steam and Xbox Game Pass.
Grounded System Requirements
To run the title on PC, you will need the following specifications
Minimum
- Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
- OS: Windows 7 (SP1) 64bit
- Processor: Intel Core i3-3225
- Memory: 4 GB RAM
- Graphics: Nvidia GTX 650 Ti
- Storage: 8 GB available space
Recommended
- Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
- OS: Windows 7 (SP1) 64bit
For now, Obsidian has only revealed the minimum requirements for their upcoming title. Based on what we’ve seen so far, it doesn’t look something that would require a lot of power anyway. The GTX 650 Ti is a fairly old GPU now, and most modern GPUs easily surpass it.
Since this is a Microsoft Studios published title, it is also coming to Xbox Game Pass. If you want a cheaper alternative, we recommend using that.
The game features online co-op and includes base building systems as well. We are excited to see more creative titles like this to release on both PC and consoles. We might just see a Switch release along the lines as a lot of previous Xbox titles released on it as well.
