Google continuously work hard to improve its services and user experience associated with them. Few days ago we saw a redesigned Gmail app for Android and now Google is moving towards improving its Desktop email services.

According to geek.com Gmail has invited some users to test its completely new design. The Desktop Gmail is very similar to what we saw a few weeks ago in mobile Gmail app. There is a slide in menu on left hand side. And there is a hangout button on the top right of the screen to make face to face video calling. Compose button has been moved to the bottom right of the screen. Remainders are now also there. Now you’ll be able to tell Google to remind you in the future to send a email to a specific person. Stars are now replaced by pin. You can now pin your favorite emails to read them later. Some more tags are also introduced to keep your emails more managed. These new tabs are Travel, Purchases, and Finance. Current tabs are Social, Promotional, Updates, and Forums.

This Gmail interface in currently in testing phase and it is possible that Google might never release it to general public.
