Google Stadia

Stadia is Google’s game streaming service that was announced back in 2018. The gaming service has been officially launched today at the Stadia Connect conference where details regarding the service were revealed. Essentially, the service is capable of streaming video games at 4K/60 fps with support for high dynamic range. The service will be usable via Chromecast. We have already covered the pricing information of the service and now let’s look at Google Stadia Countries information.

Google Stadia is essentially similar to past game streaming services such as Online, PlayStation Now and Gaikai in that it lets you play games on your computer without the need for specialized gaming hardware. The idea is not new by any means, however, the implementation is what would set it apart. Google is promising a smooth and uninterrupted gaming experience as long as you have an Internet connection fast enough to match the requirements.

Google Stadia Countries Revealed at Stadia Connect

Google Stadia is launching this November in 14 countries initially, however, by 2020 more countries would be added to the list.

Following countries will be the first to receive the service.

As for the internet requirements, for games to be fully functional in 4K at 60 fps, a minimum connection speed of 30 Mbps is recommended. To enjoy buffer and lag-free 1080p games at 60 fps, a connection speed of 25 Mbp is considered optimal. That said, Google’s servers can deliver this performance with lower bandwidth, but will also adjust the resolution as necessary in order to maintain a connection.
