Google enables paid apps for Android Wear, pushes a workaround for developers

We can’t download apps on Android Wear directly from Google Play. Rather than that, Google offers a standard app along with the companion app to transfer apps via Bluetooth to Android Wear. The method works fine for FREE apps however seems to have creating issues while installing paid apps for Android Wear. You are not able to get the contents of paid apps extracted due to an encryption bug. The issue is particularly found in newly released devices i.e. LG G Watch and Samsung Gear Live.

Now, considering the issue, Tech Giant Google has pushed forward a workaround which can be found here. The workaround is for the developers of these paid apps, asking them to add the code and change their apps directory. Meanwhile, Google will keep working on a long term fix of the issue that is to enable paid apps for Android Wear.

Let’s wait for the developers to make these changes so that you are able to get paid apps for Android Wear. As per Google’s fix, it may take some weeks depending on the technicalities involved.
