As usual, once again, Tech Giant Google has surprised all of us. It seems like there is no obstacle in the way of Google’s progress. From World Wide Web to our homes, Google is everywhere. And now, it has started to provide a HIGH SPEED Internet service i.e. Google Fiber. The speed surely is beyond your thoughts and expectations. Have you ever imagined the downloading speed of 1GBps? Google will launch 180 satellites for Global Internet service

According to a recent report from Wall Street Journal, Google is working on to launch 180 satellites for GLOBAL Internet service. So that to provide Internet at every nook and place of the World. Particularly, the places which lack internet infrastructure will be benefitted by this project. The satellites will orbit at relatively low altitude.

The WS Journal has also given some inside details. This Global Internet service project is headed by Greg Wyler. The whole project is being carried out in O3b Networks. The satellites are said to weigh less than 250 pounds. The whole project costs about $1 billion. Google can combine its Drones with the satellites to provide high signaled Internet, as said by a consultant Tim Farrar.

However, Google is not the first one to bring the concept ‘Internet from Space’. Recently, there are rumors that Facebook is also trying to bring any such project. But well, in real words, Google certainly has got the power along with wealth to do the job. Currently, we can just say Best of Luck to Google.
