Funimation has announced that it will host the premiere of My Hero Academia anime season 4 at the Anime Expo. The premiere will be held on 6th July.
Boku no Hero Academia or My Hero Academia is based on the manga series written and illustrated by Kouhei Horikoshi. Funimation will be streaming the show in both, subbed and dubbed version on its streaming service FunimationNow. The Anime Expo will be held at Los Angeles Convention Center from July 4 to 7. During the event, Funimation will premiere the fourth season of My Hero Academia.
My Hero Academia Anime Season 4 Details
For those who are not familiar with the anime, which is very unlikely because the show is one of the popular shows airing with the likes of One Piece, Black Clover. MAL describes the story overview as,
One day, a four-year-old boy came to a sudden realization: the world is not fair. Eighty percent of the world’s population wield special abilities, known as “quirks,” which have given many the power to make their childhood dreams of becoming a superhero a reality. Unfortunately, Izuku Midoriya was one of the few born without a quirk, suffering from discrimination because of it. Yet, he refuses to give up on his dream of becoming a hero; determined to do the impossible, Izuku sets his sights on the elite hero training academy, UA High.
However, everything changes after a chance meeting with the number one hero and Izuku’s idol, All Might. Discovering that his dream is not a dead end, the powerless boy undergoes special training, working harder than ever before. Eventually, this leads to him inheriting All Might’s power, and with his newfound abilities, gets into his school of choice, beginning his grueling journey to become the successor of the best hero on the planet.

Anime Expo Details
Besides Funimation, Crunchyroll and Hulu have also streamed the series but in subbed only. My Hero Academia anime season 4 will premiere in October and fans have a chance to look at the new season before anyone at the Los Angeles Anime Expo from July 4th to July 7th.
Voice actors from the cast will also be joining the screening, Kaori Nazuka (Toru Hagakure), David Matranga (Shoto Todoroki), Patrick Seitz (Endeavor), and Ricco Fajardo (Mirio Togata).
