Fortnite Concurrent Player Reaches 811k, but still has a ways to go!

Fortnite is perhaps the only that stands a chance to give Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds a steady run for their money as Fortnite Concurrent Player Reaches 811k On Weekend, it shows that the game is slowly picking up momentum.

While Fortnite shares the same genre as Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds, they are both vastly different with regard to mechanics, graphics, and more importantly, price. Albeit it has a ways to go when trying to reach the milestones and fame of PUBG, the game has a lot of potential, and offers a ton of great value if you find PUBG not to your liking, or isn’t on your platform or budget range.

Where PUBG offers an entry fee of $29.99 on Steam Early Access and $29.99 on Xbox One from December 12th, Fortnite Battle Royale is a free to play game mode that PC and PS4 can not only enjoy, but also cross play over with each other!

When we compare each game, both of them have their pros and cons where Fortnite is for more casual play while PUBG is catered toward a more competitive demographic, you can drive cars in PUBG, while Fortnite offers a unique system where you can gather materials from the world around you and use them to build temporary fortifications as the eye of the storm closes in on you.

While we can have a whole other story on how vastly different the two games are, we do have to applaud Epic Games on reaching a whopping 811k on the past Sunday.

You can see that the developers are indeed ecstatic about the milestone, considering the game is only a dwarf of the age that PUBG is.

Epic Games has once again succeeded in creating a fantastic Free to Play game that connects PS4 and PC gamers, with their flagship project in this regard being Paragon, which also offers cross play.
