Dragon Ball Legends
Set in the Dragon Ball universe, the game will feature game latest Google cloud Platform technology to allow for seamless multiplayer between players around the globe. Check out some gameplay below
The game looks a lot like the Budokai Tenkaichi series, where fighters are in third person 3-D space, rather than the traditional 2.5-D space, this will give players on mobile devices a much easier control system and touch-friendly interface to sharpen their skills.
The game makes use of a card tap based system, where each card symbolizes a different attack (melee, ranged and special), tapping various cards quickly after one another will let you execute longer combos and execute longer cutscene moves as well, which most Dragon ball fighting games are known for. The demo which was shown during Google’s presentation at Game Developers Conference showed different Dragon Ball characters including Goku, Piccolo, Frieza and Nappa.

Bandai Namco said this Cloud Platform means both players’ mobile devices can communicate at 150ms and with a stable connection.
Toshitaka Tachibana, the overseas producer of the app, said: “Every fighter deserves a solid connection.”
More gameplay will be shown with time and the character roster will be shown as well.
