Mac OS X El Captain focuses on stable UI tweaks and other important features. It introduced Metal for Mac for faster and more efficient redering. Metal will provide seemless gaming experience on Mac.
Captain also introduced new Split View, which can automatically position two apps side by side.
Improved Safari browser now supports pinned tabs and it allows you to control audio among different tabs.
Performance has been improved accross all system.Various tasks, like app launching, app swithcing, display of first mail message and opening PDF in preview, performance has been improved significantly.
