Microsoft Windows 10 new preview build is out now and you can download it from the Microsoft website. The new build of Windows 10 Technical Preview comes with Cortana.
Cortana is placed on the Taskbar in Windows 10 by default, but some users might not like it as it takes some space in Taskbar. So here is the way to disable the Cortana search box from Windows Taskbar.
- Right click anywhere on Windows Taskbar.
- From the menu, select ‘Search’
- You’ll see a sub-menu, from there select ‘Disabled’
- You can also add the icon only by selecting ‘Show search icon’
By following these simple steps, you can remove Cortana search box from Windows Taskbar. To add the search box again, follow the above steps and select ‘Show search box’.
