A lot of rumors and threads are being created daily in anticipation of Blizzard’s upcoming Diablo title. Diablo is a series which is like most RPGs set in a dungeon crawling environment. Rumors have started to spread suggesting that the upcoming Diablo will be called Diablo 4 and that could be an MMORPG.
Diablo 4 News, Rumors and Details
Nobody as of yet knows what could be the name of the next Diablo unless there are people who have ties with the Blizzard development team. There is nothing but rumors about Diablo many suggest that it will be called Diablo 4 but it has not been confirmed as of yet. Is Diablo 4 will be like a hack and slash RPG like its predecessors or Billzard will be making a brand new Diablo which will be quite different than their typical Diablo series.
Multiple Diablo Series
What is confirmed so far about a new Diablo series is that there are multiple projects which are in development as it was confirmed in a “The Future of Diablo” video released some time ago. Check this out down below:
One of the projects will be a AAA major project whose nature is still unknown but will not remain a mystery. Blizzard also confirmed that they will talk about this new project and share its details this year.
BlizzCon 2018 and New Diablo Project
Now all of the latest news about the Diablo project is being expected in a new Blizzard event, BlizzCon 2018 which they just announced their schedule for. The schedule confirmed that a new Diablo project will be unveiled at the front panel following the opening ceremony.

We all know that if Diablo 4 will be the same as Diablo 3 with some new elements it will not going to be a hit like Diablo III did. That game broke records and was the best selling game of 2012. In just simple words you can expect a new Diablo on November 2nd at BlizzCon 2018.
Rumors
These little details I shared above are the only things that are confirmed officially by Blizzard. There was a wild rumor that was posted on 4chan (a board for posting threads about everything in life like Reddit) by a user who claimed to be a World of Warcraft developer said a very interesting thing.
He said that the upcoming game will be more like God of War or Witcher 3, a single player game which was meant to rival The Elder Scrolls. While also saying that a new Diablo remaster is also in working igniting a spark or more like fire to the gamers in the community.

I had a lengthy private conversation with former Diablo RoS Lead writer Brian Kindregan in early 2015. During this conversation I told him how I read the official diablo books and how big and vast the world is and that we only scratched the surface of it. Even though it is a very interesting world. So I suggested with Project Titan being cancelled, taking an alreadyexisting and usefull IP could bring in a lot more opportunity. Being able to set the demon, angelic and nephalam races against each otherlike alience and horde. At that time he showed alot of interest on this idea. Maybe becouse he liked it, or maybe becouse they just started on anidea like that.
