Denuvo for Octopath Traveler confirmed: Game available for Pre-order

Denuvo for Octopath Traveler

Octopath Traveler

Octopath Traveler is a turn-based role-playing video game developed by Square Enix, in collaboration with Acquire. The game is finally available for pre-order, but it seems that Denuvo for Octopath Traveler has been confirmed for the Steam version.

The Steam page for the game has been updated, and now the option to pre-order the title is available. The game also has Denuvi anti-tamper protection, which PC gamers dislike, because of how it impacts performance. Over the past few months, it’s been pretty evident that games running with Denuvo tend to perform better.

Both Devil May Cry 5 and Resident Evil 2 have Denuvo, and the denuvo-free versions of the titles show significant performance increase. Publishers usually remove Denuvo after some time, and it’s been a very rare case that it’s removed within a day, which was for RAGE 2.

Octopath Traveler for Steam Release Date

The game is headed to Steam on 7th June 2019. You can check out the system requirements for the title here as well.

Octopath Traveler for Steam Price

The game is priced at $60 on Steam, and depending on the region, the pricing will vary. We weren’t expecting this to be priced as a regular triple A title, however, as it isn’t exactly a title for everyone, and we’re uncertain why they’d price it this high.

Normally when a game is released on a different platform after some time, it’s usually priced a bit lower. You can pre-order the game right here, and read about the pre-order bonuses as well.

The game was exclusively available on Nintendo Switch but is now coming to Steam as well, and we’re glad more games like these are headed to PC.
