Dead or Alive fans rejoice! The folks over at Koi Tecmo and Team Ninja Studios have just released the reveal trailer for their up coming game Dead or Alive 6. The Dead or Alive 6 Release Date is also mentioned at the end of the trailer. Another update regarding the game is soon to come.
The last main entry in the Dead or Alive franchise was Dead or Alive 5, released all the way back in 2013 with DLCs for the game being released up until 2015. Then, in 2016, the franchise saw the launch of the spin off games Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Fortune on the PlayStation 4 and Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Venus on the PlayStation Vita.
Dead or Alive 6 Release Date and Reveal Trailer
The trailer released by Team Ninja Studios shows familiar face Ryu Hayabusa, Kasumi, Hayate, Helena, Jann Lee and Zack, all returning to the new title. The game looks more serious this time around, as there is less emphasis on the series’ trademark over the top sexual portrayal of its female characters, this time opting to give them less revealing costumes. It is also said that the new entry will feature new characters as well. The Dead or Alive 6 Release Date is set to be somewhere in early 2019, an update related to the game is however scheduled to be revealed by June 11th, 2018. The game will be released on the PlayStation 4, the XBOX One and the PC.
The History of the Franchise
Many of the previous games of the franchise have actually been well received. The last main entry into the franchise, Dead or Alive 5, did however receive the worst overall score. Whereas Dead or Alive 2 is the best received game in the franchise till now. The series has always been noted for its comical portrayal of its female characters, but all that might change in Dead or Alive 6. With the announcement of the Dead or Alive 6 Release Date, through the reveal trailer, it is only a matter of time till fans can get their hands on the new game.
