Spoilers ahead for Original Teen Titans: The Terra Cliffhanger

The Original teen titans left fans with a lot of questions. And the final episode of season 5 ended on a very heartbreaking note. After Terra had sacrificed herself to save the Titans, in the very last episode of season 5, something truly heartbreaking occurs. Beast Boy spots a girl that looks like Terra but when he goes up to talk to her she denies her identity and has no recollection of anything that happened.

Given the way, the show developed Terra as a character and beast boys relationship with her, fans were attached to the character. So when we saw that last scene, all those years ago. We felt what beast boy felt. Confusion, sadness, and melancholy. Much like our lovable green friend, we had a lot of questions.

Was this actually Terra? How did she lose her memory? How did she come back? Perhaps it wasn’t terra. And it truly was someone who just looked like her. Beast boy just wasn’t ready to let her go so he saw what he wanted to. To be honest, it worked as an open-ended send-off to the character. But fans were still left with many questions.

Just who was Red X?

Another possible question was the identity of the notorious Red X. Red X was initially Robin. But the suit was later stolen and used by a masked anti-hero whose identity was never revealed. Red X was incredibly skilled. So much so, that he took on the entire teen titans at once and made quick work of them. With flashy teleportation and sassy one-liners, it’s easy to get roped in by the stylish nature of Red X. His iconic line was “What’s the matter, kids? X marks the spot.”

The identity of Red X was turned into something of a joke when the original teen titans themselves pondered over who he could be.

Here Beastboy says that Red X is probably a bionic monkey infused with Robins DNA. But on his board, we can clearly see Jason Todd as one of the possible identities. Also Nightwing. Fans have theorized for a long time that Jason Todd is Red X. Perhaps we will finally see some answers.

You can now sing the iconic opening along with your friends. When there’s trouble, we have no doubt in our minds that you know who to call.

Are you excited about the Titans coming back? Of course, you are. Let us know in the comments what gets you hyped the most and what questions you hope are answered.
