SIE Bend Studio, that is currently working on Days Gone, which will be coming out next year, seem to be working on something new, a brand new AAA IP, based on a job opening. Check out details about Days Gone developer studio and their new project below.
Days Gone Developer Studio Hiring
While Days Gone is still months away from release, an interesting job opening has shown up SIE Bend’s site. The listing is for a Senior Concept Artist and there is a detail application which includes requirements and responsibilities listed, so if you’re interested in working with a Sony studio, you should head over to the site.
But the interesting thing to note here is, that they require a Senior Concept Artist, for a AAA title, as the requirements read
“Sony Bend Studio, the creator of Days Gone, Syphon Filter and Uncharted: Golden Abyss, is looking for top talent to join our in passionate team.
We are seeking a Senior Concept Artist who will contribute to the artistic vision and development of a AAA product”
It wouldn’t make sense for them to hire a “concept” artist at this stage for Days Gone, considering how that’s literally in its final phases and the concept work is done for, one would assume.
So this is either for an upcoming AAA title with a brand new requirement of artistic vision, or it could be some sort of DLC for Days Gone? But I doubt that it’s a possibility.
It will be interesting to see, what this actually turns out to be, their new project, or whatever, SIE Bend has in mind, considering how their highly anticipated PS4 exclusive is a few months away.
