Dark Souls Remastered for Nintendo Switch Delayed

Dark Souls Remastered for Nintendo Switch Release Date

Dark Souls Remastered

Dark Souls Remastered is one of the most anticipated upcoming releases of next month, with improved resolution and frame-rate, fans, and new players will be going back to the brutal land of Lordran once more. However, for Nintendo Switch fans, we have some bad news, since Dark Souls Remastered for Nintendo Switch has been delayed, check out the details below

Switch Version Delayed

Check out the tweet from the official Dark Souls and Bandai Namco twitter pages regarding the delay of the Switch version below

While the reasons for the delay itself aren’t revealed which is Summer, for the game and the amiibo, both pages assure that it’s done to improve the current version of the game. A game being delayed to be improved upon is always a better alternative to releasing a broken game with performance issues and such.

Dark Souls Remastered Amiibo

We can look back at what Shigeru Miyamoto said regarding delayed games

A delayed game is eventually good, but a rushed game is forever bad.

So while Nintendo fans might be disappointed by this news, it’s always nice to know that the developers are working hard at making something better than what they currently have and realize that the fans deserve something better.

However, other platform fans can rest assured as only the Switch version has been delayed as PC/PS4/X1 versions will maintain their May 25th release date. So it’s not bad news entirely, at least not for non-switch users.
