Control

Control is an upcoming action-adventure video game developed by Remedy Entertainment and published by 505 Games. This is Remedy’s latest game after Quantum Break and the critically acclaimed Alan Wake. With only a few days from release, the Control File Size for Xbox One file size has been revealed.

If you’re thinking of getting the game on console, the Xbox One specifically, you’ll need 34.77 GB of storage space readily available. The file size comes from the Official Store page for the game on the Microsoft Store. Here’s a screenshot of the details mentioned below

This is fairly less than Quantum Break, and according to the updated system requirements, the game isn’t as demanding as well. However, if you plan on playing with ray-tracing on PC, you’ll definitely need beefier specifications.

The file size for the PS4 version hasn’t been revealed on the store page yet, but given how both consoles will most likely have the same performance and visuals, we should expect roughly the same size.

Control Release Date

The game is headed to PC, Xbox One and PS4 on 27th August 2019, this month. If you’re looking to buy Control on PC, you’ll need to get it through the Epic Games Store, as it is a timed exclusive.

We’re very excited to see how well the game will perform on both consoles and PC, and we’re hoping Remedy Entertainment has learned from their previous games when it comes to optimization.

Quantum Break is still one of the most demanding games on PC, and playing it on 4K with 60 FPS, is still barely achievable.
