Resident Evil 2, the timeless classic from the PS1 era is soon headed to modern consoles and PC as a remake. Developed by Capcom, Resident Evil 2 will be coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC on January 25th. The 2019 Remake of the game that defined a whole generation of horror video games has had people all excited. Moreover, in recent news, it turns out that Capcom will be releasing Resident Evil 2 Classic costumes for the characters, Leon and Claire, as announced at a launch party event in Japan.
Capcom Has Announced Resident Evil 2 Classic Costumes For Leon and Claire
Just moments ago it was announced that Capcom will be shipping Classic costumes for Leon and Claire with the game upon release. Part of a special Japanese promotion starting on January 25th, the costumes would be acquired through completion of certain special events in-game. Moreover, you would also be able to acquire the costumes via PSN Point Cards which will get you the costumes for free.
To freshen up your memory, the costumes in question are the ones seen below in the original footage of the game.
Furthermore, the classic costumes will be made free of cost on March 22nd for everyone. No specific platforms were mentioned in the announcement, however, it is safe to assume that the promotional offer will be available to everyone regardless of the platform even though the announcement poster only shows a PS4 store card.
