Call of Duty WW2 PS4 Day One Patch is 9GB in Size.

Call of Duty WW2 Loot Crate Fall From The Sky and Loot Is Visible To All

Call of Duty WW2 PS4 Day One Patch is definitely going to set you back on storage space.

According to several early adopters of the leaked copies, Call of Duty WW2 PS4 Day One Patch is going to be a whopping 9GB.

When we compare that number to Assassins Creed Origins 1.4GB on the PS4, it is now evident why the preload sizes between the Xbox One and the PS4 have so much disparity.

The Xbox One version the game is weighed in at ˜45GB while the PS4 version has been ringing in at ˜56GB, this means that digital copies of the game come with the patch preinstalled, as they should.

Physical copies will have to go through the hurdle of the 9GB patch, and considering the size, I wouldn’t be so quick to press the “Continue without Updating” button so fast.

While the patch notes for the PS4 are still a mystery, check back here later and we will have a post updated with the games patch notes.

UPDATE: You will be unable to play the physical copy if your game isn’t updated with the 9GB Patch.

UPDATE 2: It has been confirmed that no one will be able to access Call of Duty WWII without having a playlist update that is on the server end of the game. Whether or not you have the patch installed, you will be stuck in the loop shown above.

Until a workaround is found, don’t count on leaked gameplay footage making rounds for at least a couple of days, maybe even longer. Depending on when Sledgehammer decides to release the aforementioned update.

The game’s servers are not up and are reported to go online on the 1st of November. This should give the early copies time to go through the campaign mode and get a taste of the zombie’s mode.

Call of Duty WWII only broke street date a couple of hours ago and copies are right now running rampant in certain countries like Germany, Saudi Arabia, and you can expect more reports to come in as people will post their haul on Facebook, Twitter, and other places.

Keep in mind that this means there are going to be campaign spoilers a few hours after this post has been published, so if you want to play the campaign then we highly recommend you steer clear of sites where you know spoilers are bound to be lurking.
