A Reddit user has recently leaked some information about the Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Blackout mode along with some other information. Apparently, some of the information by this leaker has been confirmed.
Chaos and Primis Crew Weapons and Details Call of Duty Black Ops 4
According to the leak:
The Chaos Crew: Has a set of special weapons that can be equipped before a match starts. While each character has their own weapon type, any character can equip the weapon. Below are details about the weapons and characters. These are not the official names of the weapons according to the leaker.
- Shaw: Sword
- Scarlet: Staff
- Diego: Harpoon + Disc
- Bruno: Hammer
This particular leak may well have been confirmed. Treyarch teased these in an Instagram post. The weapons can also be seen being used in the trailer for the Chaos Crew.
The Primis Crew: functions the same as the Chaos Crew. Their special weapons are a bit more malleable. For example, Richtofens DG-5 is named as such but is noticeably different from the DG-4’s in Black Ops 3. Dempseys mini-gun uses a model from a previous game.
- Richtofen: Ragnarok DG-5’s.
- Dempsey: Minigun
- Nikolai: Flamethrower
- Takeo: Katana
There have been no clear indications of the information about Primis Crew being true. Nor any tease or hint. This truly is a complete rumor so treat it as such.
Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Zombies: Blood of the Dead details
According to the leaker:
Blood of the Dead: In the intro cinematic, the Primis Crew enters the prison through a hole in a wall. Richtofen from the Zombies Comics gives the Primis Crew a set of Blood Vials and then leaves, meanwhile Primis Richtofen is holding a portal to leave the Prison which ends up being closed by Brutus before the crew can escape. The Kronorium also makes a slight appearance in the cinematic.
This was pretty much confirmed by the cinematic trailer for Blood of the dead.
Some unconfirmed details also include:
Blood of the Dead: In this remake, the map is noticeably larger than the original Mob of the Dead, featuring both new and old sections. Players spawn in the Cryostasis Lab, opening the first door reveals that you are on a side of the prison that was not in the original. There is a path from the Cryostasis Lab to the Docks.
This leaker has provided valuable information so far which has ended up being true. It would be no surprise if this ended up in the final game. Details about Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Blackout Mode
These details include:
- Largest map in COD history. Focus on verticality. Iconic maps from previous games such as NukeTown included at different parts of the map.
- Aiming for at least 50 players. Currently testing 64. Aiming to increase that number.
- Health is 150 HP. CAn be recovered with scavengable medical kits. Scavengable armor allows players to take one extra shot. Armor piercing rounds counter this effect.
- Limited Inventory slots. Increased via scavenged backpacks.
- Weapon loot rarity. Attachments based on rarity. Higher rarity means more attachments. There are talks of making attachments scavenged rather than basing it on rarity.
- Consumable abilities such as the Multiplayer Specialist abilities. I.e. Torques portable barricade with 1x use. Ruins grapple hook with limited uses among others.
- Equipment such as the Recon RC, an RC-XD without explosives, can be scavenged to give the player an advantage.
- Land, Air, and Sea vehicles were seen in the trailer. The ATV is the only functional vehicle in the current build.
- The Storm/Gas mechanic currently is a simple visible wall that closes in on the map.
- Players currently parachute into the map but there are talks of changing that to a spawn system.
