With the announcement of Intel’s latest lineup of 8th generation “Coffee Lake” processors, it is safe to assume that many of you will be looking for a PC upgrade. And you want to be as quick with it as possible. We have gathered a list of motherboards for Intel 8th Gen Processors.

If you’re looking to get yourself a processor from Intel’s 8th generation lineup, you should know that it won’t support all previous motherboards. To be able to do that, you will have to purchase a motherboard that comes with a Z370 or 300 chipset because the Coffee Lake processors won’t be compatible with older motherboards.

Best and Cheap Coffee Lake Motherboards for Intel 8th Gen Processors:

As soon as Intel made their lineup official, almost every company that manufactures motherboards stepped forward and released their new boards compatible with Intel’s Coffee Lake. Here are some of those motherboards:

The B360 Motherboard, Specs and Price:

This is one of the motherboards that comes with Intel’s 300 series Chipset. Compatible with Intel’s 8th generation processors, this motherboard has been made available under several brands like MSI, Biostar, AsRock and Gigabyte. All of these brands tweak a little specs, but we’ll give you a general overview of the specs and price for this board.

This LGA 1151 ATX motherboard comes with a dual M.2, DDR4 support, USB 3.1 Gen 2 ports and SATA ports. ASUS’s version of B360 offers RGB lighting as well. Price for B360 starts from $120.

The H370 Motherboard, Specifications and Price:

H370 is another mainboard that will be compatible with Coffee Lake processors. It is available through Biostar, MSI, ASUS, Gigabyte and several other brands. General specifications include an Intel 370 Chipset, ATX, dual M.2 storage support, 2 x PCI-E 3.0 x16 slots, DDR4 RAM support, USB 3.1 Gen 2 ports and SATA ports. Price starts from $100.

The H310 Motherboard, Specifications and Price:

H310 motherboard is also among the list of Coffee Lake compatible motherboards. Most of the specifications are same as the other motherboards, but H310 has 1 x PCI-E 3.0 x16 slot instead of 2, and 2 x PCI-E 1 slot instead of 4. It also does not contain a DisplayPort unlike the B360 and H370. This model is readily available in m-ATX architecture.

The ASRock Z370M Pro 4, Specifications and Price:

This micro ATX motherboard doesn’t come with Wifi or Bluetooth support but it’s still a solid option if you’re considering a budget build. Specifications include 2 Ultra M.2 sockets, 2 PCIe 3.0 x 16 slots, Realtek ALC892 audio chipset, Intel I219-V LAN chipset, HDMI, D-Sub, DVI-D, and 5 USB 3.1 GEN 1 Ports (1 Type-C) and DDR4 RAM support. As far as the price is concerned, you can get this board under $150.

The MSI Z370 Gaming PLUS, Specifications and Price:

Last but not the least, MSI Z370 is another Coffee Lake compatible motherboard that you can purchase to go with your 8th gen processor. Specifications wise, it features  4 x USB 3.1 Gen 1 + 2 x USB 2.0 + (4 x USB 3.1 Gen 1 + 4 x USB 2.0 via headers) USB ports, 6 x SATA-600 (RAID), 1 x M.2 storage ports, and 4 DIMM slots – DDR4 for RAM. You can get this board for $150.
