Personal Assistants are becoming popular now a days. Google has Google Now for Android, Apple has SIRI for iOS and Microsoft has Cortana for Windows Phone and now for Windows 10 as well. Now Bill Gates is working on a mysterious Personal Agent at Microsoft. He revealed this in an answer to a question asked by someone on Reddit in an Ask Me Anything question and answer session.
Last year when Bill Gates stepped down as Chairman of Microsoft, he said that he will be working on some “ambitious scenarios”. This Personal Assistant might be one of the things. The Assistant sounds a lot like Cortana.
“One project I am working on with Microsoft is the Personal Agent which will remember everything and help you go back and find things and help you pick what things to pay attention to,” he said. “The idea that you have to find applications and pick them and they each are trying to tell you what is new is just not the efficient model – the agent will help solve this.”
According to Bill Gates that Personal Assistant will remember everything in your life and you can go to any day in the past and find that thing. This idea is really awesome, especially for the people who write everyday happenings in their diary. This time the Personal Agent might be cross-platform and it will be available on popular operating systems like iOS, Android and of course on Windows and Windows Phone.
