Finding stuff to do when you have all the time in the world is a difficult task to do especially you’re bored to a point you don’t exactly know what to do and nothing interests you more. There are hundreds and thousands of anime movies released but picking one is the real deal. Selecting the best anime movies out of hundreds and thousands was not an easy job. Here are my pics for the best anime movies which you can watch during the quarantine part 1.

As I’ve mentioned before there are hundreds of thousands of anime movies released and picking out the best among them wasn’t an easy job and some people might even not like it. Overall I’ve included movies that are highly rated both on MAL and the anime community. The list is not in any order.

One day after waking up, Mitsuha realizes she’s is the body of a boy living in Tokyo and similarly Taki finds himself in the body of Mitsuha living in the peaceful country. To find the answer to this strange phenomenon, Taki and Mitsuha starts their journey to find each other.

Your name. revolves around Mitsuha and Taki and the struggles they face in their pursuit to find each other. Tied by a string of fate.

Koe No Katachi is another beautiful pieces of art produced by Kyoto Animation. The story follows a wild young boy named Shouya Ishida who is an elementary student who likes to kill boredom with cruelty. One day a deaf girl Shouko Nishimiya who transfers to Shouya’s class and like others she became his target and got bullied for fun. Noticing everything Shouko’s mother notifies the school and Shouya becomes along and gets all of the blame for everything he did to her.

With him transferring out of the school, Shouya is left at the mercy of his classmates and is ostracised from elementary till middle school. After realizing every bad thing he did in the past, Shouya set’s his journey to find Shouko to make all amendments and become friends.

The movie series which needs no introduction, often called a movie produced by Japan’s Disney if there were one. The movie is what I would like to call a masterpiece which can be enjoyed by a person of any age. This is the type of movie which deserves all of the praise it gets which still doesn’t do justification to it. The movie is known for its beautiful visuals, sceneries, and animation which looks like a straight Disney production. The movie follows a stubborn, spoiled, and naïve, 10-year-old Chihiro Ogino who not that pleased with her parents, on their way to their new home, they found an abandoned amusement park.

After venturing inside they realized the place was something more than it looks as strange things start to happen as dusk falls. Her parents are turned into pigs, which is just the beginning. Now trapped she starts to find ways to turn her parents back to normal with the help of Haku and other mysterious creatures she finds on the way.

She then reveals her deadly pancreatic disease and how little of the time she has left. No one besides her family knows about the illness. Despite all of this Haruki didn’t show any sympathy out for her but due to her persistence, he finally decides to accompany her for her remaining days.

Hana gives birth to two healthy children, Ame, born during rainfall, and Yuki, born during snowfall. Both have the trait of turning into a werewolf which they received by their father. After suddenly dying devastating Hana’s life, she decides to bring up both of her kids without keeping their true identity a secret from the judgments of society. The story depicts the struggles of a single mom while living in an unforgivingly cruel world. The movie received acclaim and many awards including the Japanese Academy Awards.

A J-Pop idol group CHAM! has spent the last two years entertaining its fans. All good times will eventually come to an end and CHAM! is no different. As Mima Kirigoe, CHAM’s member, decides to leave the group to pursue her acting career. Which got a mixed response from the fans, still she expects her fans to support her in this decision.

However, After leaving the idol group, her life changes dramatically. She decides to take a role in crime drama series to shatter the pop-idol image of her and her career becomes tougher and taxing for both Mima and her manager Rumi. An obsessed fan starts adding to her unease as he becomes her stalker refusing to accept the departure of Mima from the group. A new anonymous website starts to depict her life with precise details and CHAM! also doing better than without her. As the story progresses, all of the disturbing events take a heavy toll on Mima’s mental health as she becomes unhinged and unable to distinguish between reality and fantasy.

Eboshi lady promoting deforestation while Princess San is furious about the destruction that the human bought upon their world. Ashitaka finds himself in a pickle as he attempts to seek harmony between the two while fighting the demon inside him.

However, the device comes with great risks and responsibility having to fall in the wrong hands it can wreak havoc. As they can cause psychological terrorism causing mental breakdowns. When the technology gets stolen, Atsuko and Kosaku now have a massive problem on their hands as people around them start to act strangely. They ask officer Konakawa for help, who has been receiving the experimentation treatment. They search for their mental terrorist in both real and dream worlds.
