Battlefield 5 is perhaps one of the most anticipated video games of 2018 right alongside BlackOps 4. The soon to be released first-person shooter is being developed by EA Dice and will be published by the same company as well. There has been some speculation regarding the game’s size on disk recently and today we have definitive proof what the file size would be. Moments ago, Battlefield V PS4 File Size was revealed and it appears to be 50 GB.
Battlefield V PS4 File Size Revealed on Disk Cover
We have seen a constant increase in the file sizes of games in the last few years. Gone are the days when games could fit into CDs and Single DVDs. With some games having crossed the 100GB mark, the gaming industry has far exceeded what players could even comprehend a few years ago. Thanks to 4K textures and other visual enhancements games are no longer restricted to a certain size. Battlefield 5 is no different, it was revealed that on the back of the disk cover for PS4, the game states that 50 GB storage space would be required.
Albeit in Japanese, we managed to read the tweet using google translator and it states the file size of different upcoming games on PS4 including Battlefield 5 which is 50 GB. This begs the question that how large the size would be on PC if its 50 GB on a console. Since we know that traditionally console games have a smaller size as compared to the same game’s size on PC.
Battlefield 5 Release Date
