When we talk about the Cupertino company, there is hell of innovative stuff to discuss. Surely, this is the case as Apple says itself in its new media invite, ‘It’s been way too long’. The tagline refers to the Sept 9 Event when Apple unveiled iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus and its first wearable. Now, Apple is set to have an iPad Event on October 16.
The October 16 iPad event, as the name suggests, will feature new additions in iPads product line along with some other possible twisty releases as well. Apple has been working on an updated iPad Mini model, new iPad Air and 12.9-inch iPad model. The last one is delayed to next year launch. So the first two variants are the possibilities.
As per Apple’s yearly cycle, iPad Mini should receive a refresh this year too. The new iPad Mini will feature Touch ID along with minor hardware improvements. As per iPad Air 2, Apple will be adding Touch ID. Alongside, the device will feature anti-reflective coating for better viewing in daylight and also the new A8 processor. There may be a minor update in RAM too. Apple is also considering the gold option for its new iPad Air model. Same may also go for new iPad Mini.
So hopefully, we will having our hands on both the devices on October 16 iPad Event. Also, we can expect Apple to make some announcement regarding 12.9-inch iPad variant. Still, this does not end here! Apple may surprise all of us with a new iMac having Retina display, new Macbooks and OS X Yosemite public launch. However, it’s the least possibility!
