KGI claims 8 GB storage, 512MB RAM, 1.3 and 1.5 inch screen for Apple iWatch

Expectations are quite high as far as Apple September 9 Event is concerned. The Cupertino is going to unveil iPhone 6 and its first ever wearable i.e. iWatch on the particular event. We have got lot of details as far as the new iPhone is concerned. But when it comes to the Wearable, the list is still short. However, a new report from KGI’s Ming-Chi Kuo has brought some interesting details regarding the specifications of the Apple iWatch. Let’s discuss it!

As per KGI report, iWatch will come in two screens sizes i.e. 1.3 and 1.5 inches. It’s quite interesting to see that Apple is now introducing its products in different variants depending on the screen size. We all know that iPhone 6 will also come in two screen sizes. The wearable will be available in aluminum variant (as used to be in Apple products). Moreover, a gold variant will also be there.

KFI report is of the opinion that the screen of Apple iWatch will be rectangular. A number of holes on the back side will measure heart rate and other fitness characteristics. Apart from this, Apple iWatch will feature 8 GB internal storage with 512 MB RAM which is far more than enough. Have a look on the KFI table that shares further details,

As you can see, Apple has still not started the mass production of its first wearable. It will begin shipping in 2015. An early announcement is definitely Apple’s strategy to get its fans excited regarding iWatch.  It will also allow developers to have sufficient time to create supporting apps. It means you still need to wait few months to get your hands on Apple iWatch.
