Apple has just announced iPhone X and iPhone 8 along with other Apple Watch Series and Apple TV 4k during Apple Special Event, 2017. This event was not only special but also holds a great importance as it is iPhone’s 10th Anniversary. There were a lot of rumors a head of iPhone launch and some of the leaks were made by Apple employee. Which turned out to be true.
New, iPhone 8 and iPhone X’s most of the features were already disclosed via leaks and rumors which we have covered time to time. Though after this event, it seems more like Apple has lost its charm. Apple iPhone X comes with all new design to celebrate the anniversary but there was nothing so much revolutionary. For starters, iPhone X comes with edge to edge to display, thanks to Samsung Galaxy S8 and Essential Phone. At first glance, most smartphone users will find it a hole similar to latest Android Flagship specially Essential Phone.
iPhone X Hardware:
Well, diving in to Specs and latest features of iPhone X. It packs a whole a new Apple made A11 Bionic CPU with more powerful GPU to handle all the new iOS 11 AR capabilities. iPhone X have 5.8 inch Super Retina OLED Display, Face ID (Apple Facial Recognition),True Depth Camera, Water and Dust Resistance, Wireless Charging, Fast Charging and Dual Portrait Mode and 12 MP Dual Cameras.
New iPhone Display:
This new iPhone display is supposed to be better than other AMOLED displays. More color accuracy, more brightness and image quality. It has 2436 X 1125 Display edge to edge display with no finger print scanner. Yes! iPhone has no Touch ID aka finger print scanner. This model also have HDR, Dolby Vision and HDR10 display which makes watching content really amazing on it.
Performance:
If you compare with iPhone X with other Android Flagships, it is no doubt there will be a lot of performance boost then the rest. It is the first smartphone capable of handling AR games and content. The new custom GPU from Apple will definitely be a deal breaker, which allow both new iPhones to compete with competition very easily.
iPhone X Design:
Front of this iPhone is made from all glass and back is metallic with wireless charging capabilities. The design of this device is matter of personal choice. I personally still like Samsung Galaxy S8 design more interesting than the rest.
iPhone X Cameras:
The camera on this device is just like the rest, until we test. There was nothing revolutionary except low light enhancements, stabilization and a new f/1.8 aperture for the main camera. Apple has added IR camera as well on the back as well front which allows you to take portrait selfies and more depth in photos. The new model will support 12 MP camera cable of recording video at 4K 60 fps and 1080p 240 fps.
