Apple Announced New MacBook for $1299, Ditches USB ports

In today’s event, along with Apple Watch, Apple announced its latest and greatest MacBook. The new MacBook is engineering at its best. The new MacBook comes with 12 inches of Retina display with 2304 x 1440 resolution. The new display consumes 30 percent less power than the previous one.

The new MacBook is incredibly thin and light. It just weighs 2 pounds and is 24% thinner than the MacBook Air. It has the all new keyboard as well. The keyboard features a new “butterfly mechanism” for even better and “much more precise” typing. Each key of the keyboard has individual LED light to use it at night.

Apple introduced an all new touchpad with the new MacBook with “Force Click”. It does not have any click on it, instead there are four force sensors at each corner of the touchpad. Apple says that users can now feel what’s happening on the screen instead of just seeing it. Force Touch will lead to some amazing tasks on the new MacBook, like pressing it harder will make a video play faster in iTunes.

Apple declared death to all ports with new MacBook. It only has a upgraded, reversible USB-C port. This port does everything, like charging the laptop, transferring data or video output. Which means that you cannot do multiple tasks at once due to the limitation of just one port. The single port let Apple to make the thinnest MacBook possible. Apple should introduce a hub now so that users can do multiple tasks at once.

The new MacBook will be available on April 10th for $1299. Along with Silver, this time MacBook is available in Gold as well.
