Anthem

Anthem is EA’s and Bioware’s most ambitious project, it gained controversy as soon as it was announced, given how EA has treated their games recently, it shouldn’t have come as a shock. Gamers are still skeptical about this project in general but the developers have assured us at E3, that there will be no microtransactions, so let’s see how true to their word they are. In other news, the creative developer of the game confirmed the Anthem Map Size on Reddit, details below.

A discussion on Reddit started as a user posted a screenshot from a gameplay video of Anthem, that came out after E3, check the image below

The post was made in question if this really is how big the game is going to be, to which the creative developer Brenon Holmes replied that this is pretty much the entire game, aside from some area missing from the top of the screenshot, which the user posted.

We’re certainly excited for the game, but at the same time, we’re cautious as well, given how EA has treated their games in the past few years, it’s no surprise if this game is littered with features that are not consumer friendly, which are microtransactions, massive amounts of grind and other toxic features that shouldn’t be there in a full game.

Check out the official description of the game from their store page below

“On a world left unfinished by the gods, a shadowy faction threatens all of humankind. The only thing that stands between these villains and the ancient technology they covet are the Freelancers.
Join with up to three other players and assemble high-tech, hand-crafted, uniquely powerful suits of armor. Explore vast ruins, battle deadly enemies, and claim otherworldly artifacts. With every mission, you and your Javelin grow in power. Fight the dangers of an ever-changing world. Rise united to defeat evil. Triumph as one.”
