Android L was revealed by Google at Google I/O this year. It was made available to download for Nexus 5 and Nexus 7 immediately. Public build is expected to release to release in November this year. Android L is a major upgrade over Android 4.4 KitKat. It introduced Material Design. And special work has been done on battery life under Project Volta. Android L will bring the biggest UI change after Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
It was still a question whether Android L will support multiple user accounts or not. The big news is Android L will have support for multiple user accounts. It was confirmed by a Google project member on official developer forum. In a discussion thread related to either Android L will support multi users of not, one of the Google employees posted this reply to the members:
The development team has implemented this feature and it will be available as a part of the next public build.
This confirms that public build of Android L will support multiple users accounts. Multiple user accounts feature will be very handy as users will not have to worry about handing their phone to either one of their friends or children.
What do you think about Multiple user accounts feature?
