A few days ago, AMD’s 500 series cards were seen on their official website (Read more about that here) and we all wanted to know more about them. There new series has been under talks for quite a while now and seeing those cards mentioned on AMD’s official website surely got our hopes up.
In latest developments, it has come to light that an AMD Radeon RX 560X has appeared on Futuremark’s 3DMark Sky Diver. This 3DMark is a benchmarking tool for testing GPUs etc. The interesting thing about this whole thing however, is that contrary to our expectations, the AMD Radeon RX 560X is going to be a mobile GPU, meaning it will be for laptops.
Acer’s Nitro 5 notebook is listed with an AMD Radeon RX 560X on their official website, suggesting that the new 500 series card is a mobile GPU
When Acer’s Nitro 5 was announced with AMD Ryzen 5 Mobile 2500U CPU, it was featured with the RX 560M GPU but now the latest listing on their website shows a Radeon RX 560X. So these new 500 series cards from AMD would most likely be for laptops.

Another thing that has recently been revealed is the fact that AMD Radeon RX 500 series graphics cards will not be a new SKU for All In Boards. Rather, they will just be OEM rebranding of the RX 500 series.
