2018 has been yet another great year for gaming and as we jump into the new year, let’s talk about a game called Absolver. Absolver is an online multiplayer game with the focus centered around melee combat. If any of you thought that the news for the year had ended, you’re in for a surprise. Right near the end, the devs for this game snuck in a late Christmas present for Xbox owners by announcing an update on Absolver for Xbox One!
The news came after the official Twitter page for absolver made the following tweet:
Attention all Absolvers! A quick update before 2019:
– Xbox version has passed certification, will be released shortly

The tweet highlights that the Xbox One version is finally gonna be released shortly, this gives fans something to look forward to after months upon months of waiting and wondering when Absolver for Xbox One would finally release. Along with this, they also announced some details for the Winter Update where they said that some gameplay balancing and combat debugging would be done to ensure that players have a smoother experience. Along with this, they also announced that winter gear would be coming soon, who doesn’t like new gear!?
Absolver saw generally positive reception on PC with a 75% on Metacritic by critics whereas, on the steam page, an overwhelming majority of the reviews are mixed. Hopefully, future patches and fixes will improve fans opinion on the game.
