Although the official release date of Ryzen 3 2200G and Ryzen 5 2400G is not until the 12th of next month, sample models have, however, surfaced in Asia and have been put to test. Benchmarks for Ryzen 3 2200G and Ryzen 5 2400G have been revealed along with new pictures of the packaging. It can be seen that the packaging for the APUs has been updated.
AMD has already confirmed some technical specifications of the APUs. The first 2 models, Ryzen 3 2200G and Ryzen 5 2400G, will be the first 2 AMD processors to feature official support for DDR4-2933 in dual-channel operation. Faster memory speeds are essential for AMD APUs to achieve maximum performance and hence the two processors will benefit from this feature greatly.

As can be seen, the Ryzen 5 2400G is the most powerful processor among the rest with 4 cores and 8 threads, CPU clock and turbo of 3.6 GHz and 3.9 GHz respectively. L2 and L3 cache of 2Mb and 4MB respectively. The least powerful of the upcoming AMD APUs is the Ryzen 3 2200U which is a “mobile” model, it features 2 cores and 4 threads and, a CPU clock and Turbo of 2.5 GHz and 3.4 GHz respectively.
3DMark Benchmarks for Ryzen 3 2200G and Ryzen 5 2400G
Apart from the specifications and pictures, 3Dmark bench scores have also been revealed for both notebook and desktop variants of the processor. The Ryzen 5 2400 G comes on top as the fastest processor with a 3D mark score of 5162. AMD Ryzen 3 2200U, however, was the lowest scorer at a 3D mark score of 2040. It should be noted that the Ryzen 5 is approximately 70 percent more expensive than Ryzen 3 2200 G.
More benchmarks are expected to follow after the official release of the APUs on 12th next month.

Pricing for The Ryzen 3 2200G is expected to be at the USD $99.99 marker and Ryzen 5 2400G at $169.99.
